12 – 15 years old Secondary
A stage of personal and academic growth where pupils develop critical thinking, autonomy and a life project.
A stage to build the future with confidence.
In Secondary we combine a solid academic education with active methodologies, personalised attention and close support so that each pupil consolidates their abilities and discovers the path that best suits their skills and interests.
Six pillars that define us
Active and participatory learning
Project-based learning, guided research and structured debate are standard tools in Secondary classrooms. 21st-century competencies integrated into the curriculum: analysis, synthesis, creativity and teamwork.
Languages and international outlook
Our pupils learn in Spanish, Catalan, English and German, developing an open-minded, global perspective. We also prepare students for official Cambridge and Goethe-Institut certifications.
Debate and Oratory
Oral expression, debate and public speaking are essential elements of our educational project. We help pupils argue, listen and express themselves with confidence and develop critical thinking. They can also join the San Cayetano Debate Club and compete locally, nationally and internationally.
Innovation and digital learning
We integrate technology through the One to One project — one pupil, one device — with Chromebooks and digital tools that foster collaboration, organisation and hands-on learning. We also promote STEM competencies through inquiry-based experiences in science, technology and problem-solving.
Growing with confidence and security
Personalised attention, close tutoring and values-based education are fundamental pillars of this stage. We accompany each pupil in their academic, emotional and personal growth, creating an environment of trust and respect.
Academic and career guidance
The Guidance Department helps pupils and families make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures through close support and specific guidance programmes such as our careers fair "Finding North".
One to One Project
The One to One project integrates the Chromebook as one more tool at the service of learning. In Secondary, pupils use it responsibly and in a balanced way, combining digital work with hands-on activities, writing, reasoning and cooperative work. This approach allows them to develop their digital competence naturally, preparing them to confidently face the challenges of university and professional life.
