Uniform philosophy

A uniform for work

"Putting on the uniform means getting into work mode, and forgetting about brands, aesthetics, fashions and status symbols."

The Colegio San Cayetano uniform is simple and functional: blue skirt, pinafore or trousers with a white polo shirt and blue cardigan; black shoes and a navy blue parka.

Designed for the classroom, without anything flashy or uncomfortable that might get in the way of academic activities.

Team spirit. Gives structure to pupils' appearance and reinforces their sense of belonging.
Functionality. Clothing designed for the everyday intellectual tasks of school life.
Safety. Helps identify young people who are not from the school.

Distinctive logo on skirts

Skirts purchased at El Corte Inglés now include a distinctive logo on the lower left-hand side.

From the 2027–2028 school year it will be an essential requirement for all girls to wear skirts or pinafores with this logo. Please bear this in mind when renewing the school uniform.

The logo is positioned 7 cm from the bottom hem. The skirt may be shortened by a maximum of 3 cm.

Failure to comply with the uniform policy will be reported to families. After the third notice, the pupil will be barred from entering the classroom.

Escoleta · Early Years (3, 4 and 5 years old)

Uniform for the youngest pupils

Summer tracksuit with navy blue canvas trainers (no laces) and white socks.

Winter tracksuit with white trainers with no laces (velcro fastening).

Mid-season jacket and/or navy blue school parka (coat).

Escoleta · Early Years · Years 1 and 2 Primary

Bibs

In Escoleta, Early Years and Years 1 and 2 of Primary, wearing a bib is mandatory.

Primary · Secondary · 1st Year Sixth Form

PE Kit

Official school PE kit.

The colour of the socks worn with the PE kit must always be WHITE.

Pupils in the various Sports Schools must also purchase the specific kit for each activity.

Secondary · Sixth Form · IB Diploma Programme

Lab coat

At all levels of Secondary, Sixth Form and the IB Diploma Programme, wearing a lab coat is mandatory for laboratory activities.

If not purchased from the school, it must be a plain white coat with no logos or markings of any kind.

Important reminder

All clothing must be labelled with the pupil's full name

This makes it easier to identify items if they are mislaid or lost at school.
